Puppy Treats
Puppies  grow rapidly.  Small breeds may attain their adult size by six to eight months.  They need adequate nutrition of calories, vitamins, and minerals, fatty acids. We are always looking ways to improve on giving our kids the best highly nutritious and well balanced meal every day.  Premium dog foods have been tested over and over again, unfortunatly some of them lack the proper nutrition your pup needs before he reaches maturity.  After months of research, reading labels, talking with Vets and comparing all brands of Premium Dog Food, we have selected
"Life's Abundance".  Lifes Abundance is a holistic pet food formulated for both puppies and adult dogs.  Life's Abundance is made with select ingredients, essential to their health. Therefore we are happy to announce that we are exclusively distributors of Life's Abundance Premium Pet Food.  Do not let your puppy get overweight, this will only add stress to those growing bones and can lead to arthritis problems later in life, Your puppy will love the food and eat less because it does not contain any fillers.  Life's Abundance is made fresh and is shipped right to your door, no more running to the store for your dog food.  Most commercial dog foods are housed in warehouses for months before they ever hit the store shelves. Would you eat something that has been shelved anywhere between 12-18 months or even longer? You make the decision.
HOW MUCH TO FEED AND WHEN :
Your veterinarian can help you work out the best diet for your pup.  You need to feed your pup as an individual just like us we all have certain nutritional needs.  We have thirteen adult havanese and I feed them twice a day.  Most pups do best with three meals a day until four months or so, and then stay on two meals daily for the rest of their lives. Specific meal times work the best especially while puppy house training.  With set meals, you know right away if your pup isn't feeling well (leaving a bowl of food out for your dog to graze on all day is not recommended). This way you can easily keep track of just how much you pup is eating, and it helps with house training on a schedule.  PUPPIES SHOULD HAVE ACCESS TO WATER AT ALL TIMES!  You may want to limit water shortly before bedtime or an hour or two before heading out on a long car trip. Since the introduction of Life's Abundance they eat less and recieve more nutrition.
Let's remember its just a treat, we have give them treats and chew items. This can help train your pup and help develop your close bond. Most puppies are happy to use their regular food as training treats, but if you want special treats, talk to you veterinarian. Rawhide seems to be the best while they are in the teething mode, however it does get soft and can stick to their facial hair.
These puppies love small stuffed animals, or you can even purchase a bong at your local pet store that will satisfy their chewing habits. This will ensure saving your furniture, shoes, and cabinets, and anything they can sink their teeth into.  Once again remember table scraps are discouraged. Visit our Life's Abundance page for healthy pet treats.

High-Quality Proteins - Proteins are the building blocks of all living organisms. Protein is essential for all bodily functions including those of the brain, heart, skin and many others.
Lif'e Abundance  Dog Food
contains at least 26 % of high-quality protein, What your looking for are identifiable animal proteins such as "chicken meal" rather generic terms like "poultry meal," which can consist of any fowl (turkey, chicken, geese, etc.).

Chicken Meal
Some foods contain chicken meat or chicken parts which naturally hold a fair amount of water, We prefer to use chicken meal because most of the water has been removed, this makes it a concentrated source of protein. There is a greater -"protein content" in one pound of chicken meal vs one pound of chicken meat.

Eggs
Are one of nature's most nutrient-dense foods and play an important role in a balanced diet. They are considered a complete protein source, providing essential amino acids, vitamins and minerals (vitamin A,B,E, K, Boltin, and Sulfur).  Eggs are also provide healthy fats, such as omega-6 for healthy skin and a glossy coat.

Catfish Meal
This fish meal is made by drying the freshest catfish @ a low temperature, creating a concentrated, highly-digestible protein source. In addition to being an excellent source of protein, catfish meal provides natural DHA and EPA, the most important of all the omega-3fatty acids.

Chicken Fat
The primary fat souce in dog food should be animal based because these fats contain a profile of fatty acids that are easily metabolized and generally more available to the body. Animal fats can vary in quality, so look for a species-specific fat like "chicken fat" (versue "animal fat") to be certain of the kind of fat your dog is eating.

Whole Grains
Whole grains are an excellent source of protein, fiber, B vitamins, iron, zinc and other essential minerals. They also provide the kind of carbohydrates that deliver sustained energy to your dog. We include the natural goodness of Ground Brown Rice and Oat Groats in Life's Abundance Dog Food.

Ground Brown Rice is the entire grain with only the inedible outer husk removed. This whole grain contains manganese, selenium, magnesium, as well as tryptophan and vitamins B1, B3 andB6.

Oat Groats are whole oats that have been cleaned, toasted, hulled and cleaned again. Amazingly, they retain nearly all of their original nutrients after this process. Oat groats contain seven B vitamins, vitamin E, and nime minerals, including iron and calcium.
